Shalini Upadhyaya
VP Operations & Senior Consultant
Shalini is our Senior Consultant with over 20 years of rich experience in Training, Learning, and Development. She has managed end-to-end L&D functions for large and mid-scale organisations, designing and implementing impactful learning strategies that drive business outcomes. With a Master’s degree in Psychology and an insatiable passion for continuous learning, she brings a unique perspective to organisational learning needs.
Her professional journey spans multiple industries, including BPO/KPO (EXL, WNS, SitusAMC), Sales & Marketing (Stryker), and Telecom (Colt), giving her deep insights into diverse business contexts and learner expectations.
She is a certified MBTI and OPQ32 practitioner and holds certifications in Train the Trainer (Levels I & II) as well as an ISTD Diploma. She is currently pursuing her ACC Coaching credentials from ICF. She has trained managers on a wide range of topics including Feedback Skills, Situational Leadership, Understanding Self using MBTI, Conflict Management and others
Shalini is known for her keen observation skills, insightful facilitation, and a sense of humour that keeps learning engaging and memorable. Her hands-on experience in HR generalist activities, quality compliance, call supervision, and customer service further enhances her ability to connect learning with real workplace needs.In her free time, Shalini loves to read and travel, finding inspiration in stories, cultures, and new experiences that broaden her worldview. Her commitment to developing people and her nuanced understanding of behavioral learning make her an invaluable member of Team Samad, strengthening our ability to build capability and drive performance across industries, businesses, and geographies.
